Dangote Refinery has announced an increase in the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), raising the gantry price from ₦1,175 to ₦1,245 per litre, representing a ₦70 per litre hike.
The new pricing will take effect from 12:00 a.m. on March 21, 2026, and applies to all outstanding and unloaded volumes, the refinery confirmed.
In addition, the refinery raised its coastal supply price from ₦1,512,648 to ₦1,606,518 per metric tonne.
The company attributed the price adjustments to ongoing global geopolitical tensions.
The refinery added, “Customers holding valid Bank Guarantees may continue loading under their current arrangements, provided they settle the price difference. All such differential payments must be completed by March 23, 2026.”
This marks another increase in fuel costs for Nigerian consumers, following previous hikes that have affected both retail and industrial buyers.
