Human rights activist and two-time presidential candidate of the African Action Congress, Omoyele Sowore, has alleged that the Governor of Abia State, Alex Otti, is a staunch supporter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second-term bid.
Sowore made the statement while appearing as a guest on The Honest Bunch Podcast, which was uploaded on Instagram.
He claimed that Governor Otti, a member of the opposition Labour Party, enjoys a closer relationship with the President than some governors from the President’s own party, the All Progressives Congress.
“Who is the number one supporter of Tinubu more than Alex Otti? Alex Otti and Tinubu are closer than any of these APC governors,” he said.
