Remo Stars Coach Abdallah Pleased With Narrow Win Over Shooting Stars

Remo Stars’ technical adviser, Usman Abdallah, has expressed satisfaction following his team’s 1-0 victory over Shooting Stars in Sunday’s derby at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.

 

Samuel Anakwe’s second-half strike secured the win and earned Remo Stars the maximum points from the encounter.

Abdallah acknowledged that the match was challenging but stressed the importance of securing three points. “The most important thing is the three points, and we were able to get it against Shooting Stars,” he said in a post-match interview with the club’s media team.

 

“The intensity of the game was undisputed as I already told my players to expect a tough game against Shooting Stars. The target is the maximum points, and we are happy with the outcome of the game, the struggle continues.”

 

Despite the victory, Remo Stars remain in the relegation zone, highlighting the need for continued effort in the league.

 

The win adds valuable points to Remo Stars’ campaign as they strive to climb out of danger and secure their place in the NPFL.
