A former governor of Kano State and leader of the Kwankwasiya movement has congratulated the newly elected Chairman of the Kano State Chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
Kwankwaso, in a post on his Facebook page, said he participated in the congress held in the state alongside some key stakeholders of the party.
“I wish to commend the immediate past leadership, ably led by Hon. Musa Shuaibu Ungogo, for their dedicated service and tremendous contributions to the party.
“I equally congratulate the new leadership under Hon. Abdullahi Maikano and urge them to prioritize unity, inclusiveness, and reconciliation among all members as we work together towards building a stronger and more formidable ADC in Kano State,” Kwankwaso wrote
Saifullahi Hassan a media aide to Kwankwaso said the former governor accepted 60 percent of the party structure in the state, declining an “earlier offer of 80 percent” from the party leadership.
