The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced that results for candidates who sat for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) on Thursday, April 16, will be released on Friday, April 17, before midnight.
In a post shared on X, JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin said candidates should expect their results to be made public later in the day.
According to him:
“This is to notify all candidates who took the 2026 UTME on Thursday, April 16, 2026, that their results will be made public by midnight today. As soon as the results are available, a formal announcement will be made to the public and posted on this page. I’m grateful.”
The examination, which runs until April 22, is being conducted in four daily sessions, starting from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
This structure is designed to manage the large number of candidates and reduce congestion at Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres.
About 2.2 million candidates are participating in this year’s exam across 966 approved centres nationwide.
All centres are required to meet strict operational standards, including functional computer systems, stable electricity, reliable internet access, and trained personnel to ensure a smooth examination process.
