President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has taken the formal step in seeking second term in office with the purchase of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Expression of Interest and Nomination forms ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
The forms were obtained at the party secretary in Abuja on his behalf by James Faleke, member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency.
Faleke was received by Suleiman Argungu, APC national organizing secretary who presented the forms to Faleke.
Faleke who led some supporters of the President completed the purchase of the form with the ruling party placed at N100 million.
The party had stipulated Saturday, 23rd May, 2026 as its presidential primary election.
