Datti Baba-Ahmed dumps Labour Party, joins PRP

Dr Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, the 2023 vice presidential candidate of the Labour Party, has announced his resignation from the party and signalled moves to the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP).

 

Baba-Ahmed spoke on Tuesday in an interview on Channels TV while maintaining the Labour Party won the 2023 presidential election with Peter Obi and himself as the candidates.

 

“APC did not win the election. Labour Party won the election,” he said.

“We’re not in a court of law. If we were, you would ask me for evidence and I would present it,”

 

“The courts have the power to say you won, but people can still come out and say you didn’t win,” he stressed further.
