Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State has been reportedly hospitalised following a motor accident on Sunday evening along the Daura–Katsina road.
Sources told Daily Correspondents that the accident occurred shortly after the governor departed Daura and involved his official vehicle. He was immediately taken to the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Daura, where he is currently receiving treatment.
Details surrounding the incident remain unclear but eyewitnesses described it as “serious.”
The Katsina State Government has confirmed the incident but assured the public that Governor Radda sustained no life-threatening injuries and is responding well to treatment.
