President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has celebrated Vice President Kashim Shettima on his 59th birthday, describing him as a loyal partner, dependable deputy, and exemplary leader.

In a tribute on Tuesday, Tinubu praised Shettima’s courage, tenacity, and commitment to nation-building, recalling his service as two-term Governor of Borno State and later as a Senator before becoming Vice President.

The President said Shettima’s role in driving the **Renewed Hope Agenda** — from strengthening global partnerships to advancing food security and economic reforms — has been pivotal to his administration’s early successes.

“Every day, as Vice President, you have justified my choice by strengthening our work, bringing fresh perspectives, and upholding our commitment to Nigerians,” Tinubu said.

He added that their partnership transcends politics, symbolising unity across regions and traditions, while urging Nigerians to emulate Shettima’s example of putting the nation first.
