“Some foreign powers, including the United States, are using religion as a cover to interfere in Nigeria’s affairs and exploit its vast natural resources,” Kumuyi stated at a press event in Lagos.
Kumuyi adamantly declared, “There is no Christian genocide occurring in Nigeria.” “Those who want to split our country and give America a pretext to invade and seize our property are funding these stories.”
The revered cleric urged anyone making such assertions to provide concrete proof of the nation’s mass murders of Christians.
