Human rights activist Omoyele Sowore has criticized President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, accusing him of being disconnected from Nigeria’s insecurity crisis and everyday struggles.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Sowore alleged that Tinubu only pays attention to issues involving land acquisition, securing loans, or political maneuvering.
According to him, the president “appears not to even know what’s going on in Nigeria, except where there is land to grab, loans to obtain and steal, and using Nyesom Wike to cause confusion in preparation for his failed and dead 2027 ambition.”
Sowore also accused Tinubu of using the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, to create political instability ahead of 2027. He reiterated his call for the president to resign, using the hashtag #TinubuMustGo.
His comments reflect growing public frustration over worsening insecurity, economic hardship, and allegations of corruption under the current administration, intensifying the political tension as discussions about the 2027 elections begin to heat up.
