The African Democratic Congress (ADC), aligned with Senator David Mark, has finally secured a venue for its national convention.
As reported by The Guardian, the party had been denied access to two venues without any cogent reasons, with the first reportedly being the Transcorp Hilton Hotel in Abuja.
The convention, scheduled to be held on Tuesday, 14 April 2026, will now take place at the Rainbow Event Center. This was communicated to the party’s state chapters, with a directive to keep the information private.
The Rainbow Event Center, located in Garki in the Federal Capital Territory, was also the venue where the party held its last National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting.
The coalition-backed faction of the ADC is expected to ratify the David Mark-led National Working Committee and make major plans for its 2027 outing.
