Popular businessman BLord has claimed that he signed social media personality VeryDarkMan to a ₦500 million ambassadorial deal for his app.
BLord made the revelation during a livestream at his residence in Anambra while addressing comedian and singer Carter Efe. According to him, VeryDarkMan’s promotional activities for his platform were not done for free but were part of a formal business arrangement.
Speaking during the broadcast, he said:
“I signed VeryDarkMan N500M for my app. You think say na free? Why you think say him dey advertise for me just like that? Na my ambassador, na me be the first person wey sign am.”
He further suggested that the deal was a strategic move to strengthen his brand, insisting that he does not engage influencers without proper agreements in place.
The claim comes amid ongoing tensions between the duo, who have been at loggerheads on several occasions. Their most recent disagreement reportedly centered around BLord’s alleged use of the “Ratel” name, which is associated with VeryDarkMan.
At the time of filing this report, VeryDarkMan has yet to publicly respond to the ₦500 million signing claim or confirm the existence of such an agreement.
