Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has made history as the first African artiste to earn over $1 million from a single concert in Oceania.
The achievement came during the Sydney stop of his No Sign Of Weakness tour, which took place at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia, on October 18, 2025. The concert generated a total revenue of about $1.117 million.
According to global tour monitoring platform Touring Data, Burna Boy’s No Sign Of Weakness tour also set a new record as the highest-grossing tour by an African artist in Oceania’s history. The tour made about $3.1 million from 31,000 tickets sold across four shows.
Data released by Touring Data shows that the Australian leg of the tour sold 30,946 tickets across four shows, with an average ticket price of $100.94 and an average revenue of $772,791 per show.
The No Sign Of Weakness tour was held across 20 shows in three continents: North America, Europe, and Oceania.
With this achievement, Burna Boy has also become the first African artist in history to gross over $1 million from a single concert in three different continents.
