The Federal Government has taken fresh steps in resolving two high-profile cases of unruly conduct involving air passengers—Ibom Air’s Ms. Comfort Emmanson and ValueJet’s King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal (KWAM1), also known as K1 De Ultimate.
In a statement on Wednesday, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, SAN, said he had reached an understanding with Ibom Air to withdraw criminal charges against Ms. Emmanson.
Details on the resolution of KWAM1’s case with ValueJet are expected to follow, as the ministry moves to promote amicable settlements and uphold standards of conduct in the aviation sector.
