Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has said he is open to settling his dispute with fellow rapper Blaqbonez — but only if Blaqbonez apologises to him in person.
Speaking in a recent podcast interview with Pulse, the “Wotowoto” crooner explained that although their rift has been ongoing, he is not against reconciliation. He noted that his Christian background teaches forgiveness, but said forgiveness requires genuine remorse.
Odumodublvck, however, claimed that Blaqbonez has not personally reached out to apologise. Instead, he alleged that Blaqbonez has been sending respected figures in the music industry to intervene on his behalf rather than approaching him directly.
The rapper stressed that their disagreement, which started last year, goes beyond a typical rap beef. He accused Blaqbonez of trying to reduce the issue to a hip-hop rivalry by releasing diss tracks aimed at him.
“My rift with Blaqbonez is personal. But I won’t rule out the possibility of reconciliation because there is nothing God can’t forgive. However, you can only forgive a contrite heart.
“You are sending big artists to come and beg me but because you want to maintain a social image, you don’t want to apologise even in private because you feel I would expose you if you do.
“Real men don’t behave like that. I can’t possibly post someone’s apology online. If you can’t humble yourself, you will be stunted,” he said.
