Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has sparked outrage online after making controversial remarks about Blessing CEO and her reported battle with breast cancer.
Reacting to the situation, Sarah Martins claimed that the illness was a form of spiritual consequence linked to the late Bimbo Ogbonna, who died following a fire incident involving her husband, IVD.
In a post shared on Instagram, the actress mocked Blessing CEO and made disturbing comments suggesting that Bimbo’s spirit was responsible for her condition.
She wrote:
“What a day to be alive. Dear Bimbo, I see what you did there, keep it up… Either through cancer or whatever means!”
Martins also accused Blessing CEO of previously mocking Bimbo’s death and supporting IVD during the controversy surrounding her passing.
“You mocked the death of a woman that did nothing to you… God neither sleeps nor slumbers. His timing is always perfect,” she added.
The comments have generated strong reactions online, with many criticising the insensitivity of linking a serious illness to spiritual revenge and making light of such a sensitive situation.
Background reports indicate that Blessing CEO had publicly supported IVD in 2022 during the controversy over his wife’s death and later confirmed a relationship with him, with both reportedly tying the knot traditionally in 2025.
