Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin, a member of the House of Representatives under the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has revealed that the party’s National Leader, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, may consider joining the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Jibrin made the disclosure on Politics Today, a Channels Television programme, where he noted that Kwankwaso remains open to political realignments in the interest of the nation.
The lawmaker, who has met President Bola Tinubu twice in recent weeks, said the discussions signal possible collaboration between Kwankwaso and the APC.
Kwankwaso, a former Kano State governor and 2023 presidential candidate of the NNPP, has long been seen as a key opposition figure, though speculations about his possible defection have continued to grow.
