The unsigned note circulated quickly on social media, with posts insisting May was begging Yul to forgive her right in the middle of their divorce.
Yet in a Facebook update shared through her lawyer Emeka Ugwuonye, May flatly called the letter fake. She labeled it a “desperate attempt to create a narrative when other efforts have failed” and said she never penned a single line of it.
She said: “May Edochie did not issue any apology. It was Yul who chose polygamy, and previously apologized. However, such apology would not alter the current legal situation.”
“Please disregard false claims that are being circulated. There has been no apology from May. She’s continuing to pursue the divorce proceedings and damages related to adultery.”
Her rebuttal basically closes the door on more rumors about the two getting back together.
