Nigerian skit maker Samuel Perry, popularly known as Broda Shaggi, has shared his first message after surviving a gun-related incident in Sango-Ota, Ogun State.
The content creator was reportedly hospitalised after sustaining a gunshot injury while filming a comedy skit under the Sango-Ota bridge. According to a police source, the exact circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear, but members of his crew quickly rushed him to Blooming Care Hospital in the Alakuko area of Lagos, where he received immediate treatment.
The source said:
“He was shooting a skit under the Sango-Ota bridge when he sustained a gunshot injury. We don’t have details on how it happened yet, but his crew members who were present quickly rushed him to the hospital.”
Medical personnel reportedly administered first aid upon his arrival, helping to stabilise his condition.
Amid growing concern from fans, Broda Shaggi later took to his Instagram story to post a cryptic message, suggesting he had more to say but was holding back.
He wrote:
“But if you are gonna leave this world behind, leave it as a good person… it is 4am and I wish like pouring out my mind but I can’t cos they will be deleted.”
His message has since sparked reactions online, with many expressing relief over his survival and wishing him a speedy recovery.
