Nile University of Nigeria formally inducted a new cohort of students into its academic community at its 17th Matriculation Ceremony, held on January 26, 2025,

The event, which marked another milestone in the institution’s steady growth as a leading private university in the country attracted parents, guardians, senior government officials, members of the diplomatic community, university administrators, and other distinguished guests.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dilli Dogo, FNAMed, DFMC, congratulated the matriculating students for successfully navigating the University’s rigorous admission process and encouraged them to take full advantage of the opportunities available to them.

The Vice-Chancellor highlighted Nile University’s continuous investment in modern infrastructure, academic resources, and strategic partnerships designed to enhance student learning and employability. He noted that the University has built strong collaborations with professional bodies and international institutions to ensure that graduates are well prepared for leadership roles in an increasingly competitive global environment.

Prof. Dogo also reaffirmed the University’s commitment to innovation, entrepreneurship, and professional development, stressing that Nile University provides students with opportunities to earn professional certifications, participate in industry-relevant training, and gain practical experience even before graduation.

The matriculation ceremony featured the traditional oath-taking by the students, who were dressed in academic regalia, formally sealing their admission into the University. For many of the students and their families, the event marked a proud and emotional beginning of a new academic journey.
