Amara, the second daughter of Grace Nation Bible Ministry founder Pastor Chris Okafor, is reportedly preparing to press charges against him over alleged assault, according to actress Doris Ogala.
The development comes amid the ongoing controversy between Doris Ogala and the clergyman. In December, Doris publicly accused Pastor Okafor of failing to fulfill a marriage promise to her after eight years of what she described as an intimate relationship. She also made other allegations against him.
Following the dispute, Pastor Okafor had her arrested. After her release, Doris rejected an alleged $10,000 settlement offer, stating that she would not accept it.
In a new post shared on her Instagram page on Friday, Doris claimed that Amara is now ready to take legal action against her father for physically assaulting her. She shared videos allegedly showing the incident and accused the pastor of attacking his daughter after she confronted him over certain issues at home.
According to Doris, Amara was seriously assaulted during the confrontation. She further alleged that the incident involved physical violence and described it as an attempted murder.
She wrote:
“This is Amara, Chris Okafor’s second daughter. How can a father do this to his own daughter? Haba, this is too much.
“Amarachi witnessed a lot of atrocities going on at their house, bringing different church members. This particular one has to do with the mother of his current wife. Not knowing there was a camera planted. God.
“I will tell the full gist later. He beat up Amara, got her naked, stabbed her everywhere. This is an attempted murder gush, just because she caught you sleeping with a married church member. THANK GOD AMARA IS READY TO PRESS CHARGES NOW,” she revealed.
As of the time of filing this report, Pastor Chris Okafor has not publicly responded to the latest allegations.
