Reggae icon and actor James Chambers, widely known as Jimmy Cliff, has passed away. His death was confirmed in an emotional message shared on his official social media pages.
According to the announcement from his wife, the 78-year-old music legend died after suffering a seizure followed by pneumonia.
She expressed deep gratitude to family, friends, fellow artistes, colleagues, and fans worldwide, noting that their love and support strengthened Cliff throughout his long, inspiring career. She also thanked the medical team who cared for him in his final days.
