Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) has announced the opening of applications for its Visiting Student Research Program (VSRP) 2026. The program offers a fully funded international internship for bachelor’s and master’s students worldwide.
The KAUST VSRP provides a three to six-month research internship designed for students in STEM fields who seek hands-on experience at one of the world’s leading research universities.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet specific requirements to qualify for the KAUST VSRP 2026.
“Open to students of all nationalities, including Pakistan,” the program states. Eligible students must be in their third year or higher as undergraduates, or be master’s students. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 4 and demonstrate strong spoken and written English skills. PhD candidates, current KAUST students, and KAUST alumni are not eligible.
