Tragedy has struck South Korea as popular TikTok influencer, Yoon Ji-ah, was found dead on a mountainside in Muju County, North Jeolla Province.
Reports revealed that her body was discovered on October 6, 2025, though she was believed to have died three days earlier, shortly after a livestream.
Investigations uncovered that Yoon Ji-ah was approached by Choi, the CEO of an IT company, who posed as a wealthy figure known as “Black Cat” on social media. He had promised to help grow her online following but was secretly battling heavy debt and had lost his home in a forced auction.
Authorities reported that Choi had been stalking Yoon Ji-ah and displayed controlling behavior leading up to her death. He was arrested shortly after her body was found and later confessed to the crime.
Yoon Ji-ah, who had over 300,000 followers on TikTok, was well-known for sharing lifestyle content. Her untimely death has sparked outrage across social media, with fans and fellow creators demanding justice as investigations continue.
