Veteran Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade Ekeinde has addressed questions about her relationship with fellow actress Genevieve Nnaji.

For years, many fans believed the two movie stars were not on good terms, especially because they are no longer frequently seen together as they were during the early years of their careers in Nollywood.

However, speaking in a recent interview with Pulse Nigeria, Omotola clarified that there is no problem between them and that their relationship remains cordial.

When asked if she and Genevieve were still friends, she replied:
“Oh, Jesus Christ. We are good.”

The actress also expressed admiration for actor Chidi Mokeme, describing him as her favourite Nollywood actor. She noted that both on and off screen, he stands out as a talented performer who continues to impress her.

In an earlier interview, Omotola had also dismissed claims of a feud between her and Genevieve, saying the rumours were created by fans.

She said:
“Na them start the quarrel before we know say we dey quarrel.

So, we have to catch up with the quarrel. There was no quarrel. People don’t need to be best friends, but we talked. Like behind film, we dey talk normally.”
