Super Eagles striker Victor Boniface has sparked optimism among football fans after hinting at a return to training following his recent knee surgery.

The 25-year-old forward took to his X (formerly Twitter) account on Sunday to share a brief but hopeful message, suggesting that his recovery process has reached a new phase.

“Work starts tomorrow. Thank you LORD,” Boniface wrote, alongside a photo of himself on the pitch.

Boniface, who is currently on loan at Werder Bremen from Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen, has been sidelined in recent weeks after undergoing knee surgery.

The post generated positive reactions from fans and supporters, many of whom have been eagerly awaiting updates on his fitness ahead of upcoming club and international engagements.
