Charly Boy has warned that Nigeria’s economic hardship could worsen if President Bola Tinubu is re-elected in 2027.
In a post shared on his official Facebook page, the entertainer, whose real name is Charles Oputa, claimed that Nigerians would “die like flies” if Tinubu returns to power.
He also cautioned voters against exchanging their votes for rice and other palliatives allegedly distributed by the All Progressives Congress.
He wrote: “Nigerian youths, what is our plan against 2027 if Bola Tinubu rigs it? If this man comes back, we will be dying like flies.
“The hardship about to hit us will be demonic. If we like, we should still be negotiating with rice.”
Charly Boy was a known supporter of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the last election.
