Al-Nassr captain Cristiano Ronaldo expressed his delight after his team secured a 5-2 victory over Al-Najma in a Saudi Pro League (SPL) match on Friday.
The Portugal forward returned from injury to score two goals at Alawwal Park in Riyadh, helping his side claim all three points.
DAILY POST reports that Ronaldo and Sadio Mane each scored a brace, while A. Alhamddan added a goal to complete the scoring for Al-Nassr.
After the match, Ronaldo shared a photo of himself and his teammates celebrating on his X account, captioning it: “It’s good to be back. We move forward together.”
Al-Nassr will face Al Akhdoud in their next league fixture on Saturday. The club currently leads the SPL table with 70 points from 27 matches.
