‘I’m Trying To Be Perfect As Jesus’ – Ayra Starr

Ayra Starr, whose real name is Sarah Aderibigbe, has spoken openly about her spirituality and personal faith.

During a recent livestream chat with TikToker Jarvis, the singer shared that her spiritual goal is to be “as perfect as Jesus.”

She explained that although she is not deeply religious in the traditional sense, she is very committed spiritually.

According to her:

“I am trying to be as perfect as Jesus. I have a close relationship with God and the Holy Spirit and it doesn’t come with me only being in church. God says let it be unto you according to your faith. I have found a way that works for me,” she expressed.

Ayra Starr stressed that focusing more on spirituality rather than strict religion is what works best for her right now. However, she noted that her approach could change in the future.

In addition to talking about her faith, the music star also revealed that she is stepping into the movie industry.

She disclosed that she started acting last year and that her first movie is expected to be released this year.
