Linus Williams Ifejirika, popularly known as Blord, has been granted bail after spending weeks in Kuje prison over alleged impersonation of social media commentator Martins Vincent Otse.
The development was made public by activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore in a brief statement shared on his official Facebook page on Friday.
According to him, Blord was granted bail on self-recognition after being arraigned at the Federal High Court in Abuja.
He also stated that the court directed Blord to submit his international passport as part of the bail conditions.
According to Sowore:
“Bail has been granted to Linus Williams, popularly known as @mrblordofficial BLORD, on self-recognizance. The court, however, ordered that he deposit his international passport as part of the bail conditions.”
Blord had earlier been remanded in prison on April 1, 2026, following the allegations.
