Senator Orji Uzor Kalu has said the opposition parties including key figures like former vice president Atiku Abubakar and former Anambra State governor Peter Obi can’t defeat President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in a free and fair contest.

Senator Kalu who is representing Abia North and a member of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) stated this while speaking to newsmen at the National Assembly on Tuesday.

“They can’t defeat President Tinubu in a free and fair election. The opposition parties are very weak and the APC is a moving train,” he said.

The former Abia State governor referenced the 15 million votes APC garnered during the presidential outings of late Muhammmadu Buhari. He argued that since the party commanded such numbers, it will be difficult to defeat the incumbent president.
