Controversial Nigerian influencer and relationship coach, Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has publicly apologised following weeks of backlash over her health claims.
The 36-year-old shared a video on Instagram where she described her apology as “genuine,” expressing regret over the confusion, embarrassment to her loved ones, and public outrage caused by the situation.
She, however, maintained that she did not lie about her health condition.
According to her:
> “I apologize for the needless controversy, embarrassment, and drama surrounding my health difficulties. I truly apologize. I pledge to be open and honest about all of my medical reports going ahead, including the outcomes of my scans and biopsies.”
She promised to release full medical records, including scan results and biopsy reports, to clear doubts and keep the public informed about her condition.
> “I will accompany you on this path, just as I did with my BBL and liposuction, so please be patient with me. I did not lie about my health issues. I’ll begin by formally uploading my biopsy information and scan findings, and I’ll keep you all updated at every stage.”
Blessing CEO also said she is willing to refund people who donated money but are uncomfortable with the controversy, asking them to send proof of payment and account details via WhatsApp or direct message.
> “I sincerely appreciate all of your kindness and well wishes. I am incredibly appreciative of the well-meaning Nigerians who helped me with my health, and I do not take your generosity for granted.
> “I am willing to give refunds to anybody who are uncomfortable with the controversies. You will receive a refund if you submit a WhatsApp message or direct message with your account information and receipt.”
She further thanked supporters for their prayers and goodwill, asking them to continue praying for her.
The controversy began earlier this year after she claimed she was battling stage four cancer and appealed to the public for financial assistance, which later triggered widespread criticism and skepticism.
