Famous Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, has revealed why she no longer attends physical church services.
The actress made this known in a Snapchat video on Sunday, explaining that the attention she receives during services often distracts from the purpose of worship.
According to her, people tend to focus on taking pictures of her instead of participating in the service, which made her uncomfortable.
“Anytime I Go To Church, I Am Always The One They Take Pictures Of. So I Will Join Online,” She Said.
She added that she now prefers to attend church services virtually to avoid the distractions.
It would be recalled that in 2022, the actress publicly identified herself with the Celestial Church of Christ.
“Every Time I Have Challenges I Go To The Celestial Church Quietly At Night For Solutions. But I Have To Stop Hiding And Publicly Identify With The Church,” She Said.
