Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable, has alleged that his defeat to Carter Efe in their celebrity boxing match was staged by organisers.
Portable claimed that the outcome of the fight was manipulated to avoid paying a massive N23 billion to bettors who had placed wagers on him to win.
He made the allegation after facing heavy mockery from celebrities and fans on social media following his loss.
It would be recalled that Carter Efe defeated Portable in the highly publicised boxing match held in Lagos, securing a N50 million cash prize.
The judges scored the bout 30 points in favour of Carter Efe and 27 points for Portable, officially declaring the streamer the winner.
Following the result, many Nigerian celebrities took to social media to mock Portable, especially after he had spent days boasting about defeating Carter Efe before the fight.
