Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus, has stirred reactions online after challenging fellow actress, Funke Akindele, to a boxing match.
In a post shared on her Instagram page, Eniola called for a showdown in the ring and urged businessman E-Money and music executive Soso Soberekon to sponsor the fight.
She Wrote: “Funke Akindele, Let’s Get On The Boxing Ring. It’s About Time. Soso, E-Money, Let’s Get To It. No Time. Money Has To Be Made.”
Her statement comes shortly after the trending celebrity boxing match where Carter Efe defeated Portable in Lagos.
Carter Efe won the bout after three rounds and walked away with a N50 million prize, earning the title of Nigeria’s “Celebrity Boxing King.”
The fight generated massive buzz on social media, with many celebrities reacting—some mocking Portable after his defeat despite his earlier confidence.
Eniola’s challenge has now added to the growing excitement around celebrity boxing in Nigeria, as fans anticipate whether Funke Akindele will respond.
