Controversial Nigerian singer, Speed Darlington, has criticised the re-election ambition of President Bola Tinubu over the current economic hardship in the country.

The singer expressed his displeasure in a video shared on his Instagram page on Wednesday, where he questioned the achievements of Tinubu’s administration since taking office in 2023.

According to Speed Darlington, the country has continued to face policy failures, economic struggles, structural problems, and worsening insecurity under the present administration.

He further claimed that allowing Tinubu to return for a second term would bring more suffering to Nigerians.

“You are here breaking your neck to become the next President of Nigeria but you’re not qualified to be President again. From your first term, we already know that your second term is going to be hell fire.

“When you came to the office in 2023, the first thing you did was to remove the subsidy, knowing very well that everything about Nigerian life is attached to petroleum. Giving those in the oil section thousands of reasons to inflate fuel price, knowing fully well that Nigerians are naturally greedy. Just tell me, what qualifies you for a second term?

“You’re not qualify again, You don’t know the job. You haven’t done anything about the rising insecurity across Nigeria,” he said.
