Nigerian music star Mr Eazi has shared a childhood story about his father, who worked as a military pilot for some prominent figures in Nigeria, including billionaire Mike Adenuga and former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
The singer explained that his father, now retired, flew aircraft for Mike Adenuga and also served as a pilot for Obasanjo throughout his eight years as Nigeria’s president.
Speaking about his upbringing, Mr Eazi recalled visiting Obasanjo’s residence in Ota during his childhood. According to him, he was warmly welcomed during the visits and was often given gifts, including large fish.
The singer said those experiences exposed him to influential environments from an early age because of his father’s career in aviation and connections with high-profile personalities in the country.
Mr Eazi also noted that his father’s work gave him the opportunity to witness a different side of life while growing up, especially through interactions with notable individuals in Nigeria.
