Former Big Brother Naija “Shine Ya Eye” winner, Whitemoney, has appealed to people interested in joining the reality show to stop sending him messages asking for help to gain entry into the Big Brother house.

According to him, many aspiring contestants have been reaching out to him ahead of the eleventh edition of the show, hoping he could influence their selection.

Speaking in a video broadcast, Whitemoney advised intending housemates to follow the proper audition process instead of trying to find shortcuts.

He explained that he does not have the power to influence or secure anyone’s admission into the reality show.

“My DM Is Filled Up With Messages From People Asking Me To Influence Their Entries Into BBNaija. Please, I Do Not Have The Power To Put You Into Big Brother House. Stop Sending Messages. Every Year When The Programme Is Approaching, I Keep Getting Messages. This Year’s Own Is Too Much,” He Said.

Whitemoney also acknowledged the difficult economic situation in the country, noting that many people see the reality show as a path to fame and better opportunities.

“I Understand That The Economy Is Hard And Everyone Wants To Be Famous By Going To The Big Brother Show. But Please, Go And Audition. Follow The Due Process. I Auditioned Four Times Before I Was Picked,” He Added.

He further advised applicants not to give money to anyone promising to secure a slot for them in the show, warning that many scammers take advantage of desperate applicants.

“Keep Auditioning Even If They Reject You. And Don’t Fall Victim To Scam By Giving Anyone Money To Give A BBNaija Slot. Be Wise About It,” He Said.
