Nigerian TikToker Sea King has criticised Yoruba Nation agitator Sunday Igboho over the recent attacks and abductions in Oyo State.
Sea King, whose real name is Olumide Ogunsanwo, reacted in a video shared on his Instagram page while speaking about the abduction of teachers and students from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinele in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The attack reportedly occurred on May 15, 2026, when armed bandits invaded the area and abducted several victims.
Reports later emerged that one of the teachers, identified as Michael Oyedokun, was killed by the attackers, while a video of the school principal pleading for the safety of the abducted victims also surfaced online.
Reacting to the development, Sea King accused Sunday Igboho of remaining silent despite previously vowing to fight insecurity and banditry in Yorubaland.
The TikToker described Igboho’s silence as political, claiming that he had failed to act after returning to Nigeria.
“Where’s Sunday_igboho1? Sunday Igboho has been paid. You said nobody should campaign in Yoruba land except Tinubu. You said you wanted to eradicate all the Fulani that are killing people from the land. Where are you now? Why are you silent?” he said.
Sea King further questioned Igboho’s earlier promises to confront armed groups operating in the South-West.
“You vowed to ‘eradicate’ the bandits. You promised to lead 50,000 men. Now you’re back in Yorubaland, but the killings haven’t stopped. So where is the action? Silence after a presidential pardon isn’t bravery, it’s politics,” he added.
The criticism comes months after the Federal Government reportedly removed Sunday Igboho’s name from its wanted list during the administration of President Bola Tinubu.
Igboho recently returned to Nigeria after spending several years outside the country following the 2021 raid on his Ibadan residence by operatives of the Department of State Services during the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
