Fast-rising Afrobeats singer Romeeyo has revealed that the struggles and sacrifices of his mother played a major role in inspiring his music career and personal journey.
The singer, whose real name is Daniel Oluwatobi Aderibole, spoke about the inspiration behind his debut project and his passion for creating emotional and meaningful music.
According to Romeeyo, watching his mother go through difficult times while making sacrifices for her family motivated him to work hard and succeed so he could make her proud.
He said, “My mother’s struggles inspired me. This is for every woman who sacrificed everything for her children.”
The young artist explained that his music is built around gratitude, love, and appreciation for mothers who continue to support their children despite economic difficulties and personal struggles.
Romeeyo also said many young people fail to fully appreciate the sacrifices their mothers make for them. He added that he hopes his message will encourage people to value and appreciate their parents more, especially mothers.
