Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan (PDP, Kogi Central) has officially resumed her legislative duties at the National Assembly Complex in Abuja after completing a six-month suspension.
Her return to work came just hours after officials of the Sergeant-at-Arms unsealed her office, located at Suite 2.05, Senate Wing. The reopening was supervised by the Deputy Director of Sergeant-at-Arms, Alabi Adedeji.
Akpoti-Uduaghan’s suspension, which drew significant public attention earlier in the year, had sparked debates within political and civil society circles about legislative discipline and internal parliamentary processes.
With her return, political observers say all eyes will be on the Kogi lawmaker as she re-engages in Senate activities and constituency representation.
As of press time, neither the Senate leadership nor Akpoti-Uduaghan had issued a formal statement on her resumption.
