Popular Nigerian comedian and reality TV star, DeeOne, has completed his Guinness World Record attempt for the longest stand-up comedy performance by an individual.
The comedian began his 52-hour marathon performance around 12 a.m. on October 2 and successfully wrapped it up on Saturday, October 4, 2025.
Speaking after the feat, DeeOne said the record attempt was meant to inspire Nigerian youths and dreamers everywhere that “no goal is too high to achieve.”
The event, held at Pallazzo in Ikeja, Lagos, drew several celebrities, including Pamilerin, Acapella, FunnyBone, Uche Maduagwu, Husband Material, EmmaOhMaGod, K-Solo, Constance Owoyemi, Akinolu Jekins, and Gbenga Adeyinka the 1st.
According to reports, DeeOne’s 52-hour, 42-minute performance is now awaiting official verification by Guinness World Records (GWR).
The current record of 40 hours, 16 minutes, and 48 seconds was set by American comedian Benny Elbows on April 25, 2025.
