Popular Nigerian rapper, Tochukwu Ojogwu, better known as Odumodublvck, has described Nigeria’s political system as a complete mess.

Speaking on the BET Talks Podcast, Odumodublvck said that politics in Nigeria, like in many parts of the world, is chaotic and filled with corruption. He explained that giving people power often leads to problems — whether the person in charge is good or bad.

According to him, “When you give a man power, things rarely go as planned. If he’s bad, bad people around him will make him worse. If he’s good, bad people will try to corrupt him.”

The rapper also criticized Nigerians for focusing all their anger and blame on the President, while ignoring other political leaders who also share responsibility for the country’s problems.

He said, “Nigerians have been brainwashed to believe that only the President is responsible for everything wrong in the country. But you also have a local chairman, councillor, and senator who represent you directly. They should also be held accountable.”
