Laila Charani, the Moroccan wife of Nigerian senator Ned Nwoko, has accused her co-wife, actress Regina Daniels, of introducing her to drug use and engaging in lesbian relationships.
Charani made the claims in an Instagram post, reacting to Regina Daniels’ earlier statement alleging that Nwoko’s other wives were involved in drug use.
According to Charani, it was her husband’s quick intervention that saved her marriage after Regina allegedly introduced her to drugs six years ago. She added that Regina’s ongoing disagreement with their husband was because he wanted her to quit drugs and alcohol, noting that Nwoko himself neither smokes nor drinks.
“You know very well that I almost lost my marriage when you introduced me to drugs six years ago, and it was my husband’s quick insistence on intervention that saved me,” she wrote.
Charani further accused Regina of being a bad influence on their household, alleging that she supplied drugs to nannies, workers, and even her younger sister, Destiny.
“You have been a bad influence since you married into this family, giving drugs to staff and your sister. You infected everyone with your habits, and that’s why I don’t trust my daughters around you. I found out that you were sleeping with every girl close to you,” she claimed.
She urged Regina Daniels to seek psychological help and stop involving Nwoko’s other wives in her issues with their husband.
As of the time of this report, Regina Daniels has not responded to the allegations.
