Nigerian singer Portable has stirred fresh controversy after declaring that Olamide will one day regret not signing him. In an emotional message shared online, Portable described himself as an artist destined for global recognition despite setbacks, criticism, and industry battles.
He said the challenges he has faced have turned into blessings, insisting he has successfully built an international fan base and gained support from foreign collaborators such as Skepta.
According to him, he has grown from being seen as a local rapper into an international act through determination, resilience, and what he believes is divine favour.
Portable also accused unnamed individuals of trying to block his progress, alleging that some people who once supported him turned against him because he refused to act foolishly or be exploited. He warned that anyone who tries to sabotage him will face consequences, stressing that destiny will elevate him above those who oppose him.
The singer maintained that his rise in the industry cannot be stopped and that he will eventually surpass many of his peers. He said he remains true to himself and believes his journey is shaped by inspiration, consistency, and a sense of purpose.
He ended his message with strong confidence in his global future and said every disappointment is part of a story that will ultimately vindicate him.
His words:
“Any disappointment is a blessing. Zazuu, I am blessed internationally, I get fan base.
