Bandits attacked Unguwar Tsamiya in Faruruwa village and the Dabawa community, both in Shanono Local Government Area of Kano State, abducting at least 25 residents and injuring two people.
The incident happened on Sunday night, coming less than a day after another attack on Yan Kamaye in Tsanyawa LGA, a community close to the Katsina border.
A conflict and crisis reporter known as Bakatsine confirmed the attacks, expressing concern about the repeated violence in border communities.
He questioned the effectiveness of the Katsina peace deal with bandits, noting that the attacks continue despite the agreement.
Bakatsine said the back-to-back invasions have raised doubts about the value of the peace deal, especially in Katsina LGAs that share boundaries with Kano State.
