Temi Otedola and Nigerian singer Mr Eazi have opened up about the stress, disagreements, and tough decisions they faced before finally agreeing on the locations for their destination weddings.

The couple revealed that planning three weddings in three different countries within just three months was extremely overwhelming.

“Three weddings in three months is insane,” they said, admitting that the tight timeline and constant planning took a serious toll on them.

Temi explained that their initial plan was to have a simple court wedding in Nigeria, but concerns about privacy quickly changed that idea.

“If we went to the courthouse in Nigeria, it wouldn’t be as private as we wanted,” she said.

Another option was to invite court officials to conduct the civil ceremony in their living room. While Temi found the idea appealing, Mr Eazi was not completely on board, leading to disagreements and more discussions.

After going back and forth, they eventually chose Monaco for their civil wedding, a decision Temi said felt more personal and sentimental. The United Kingdom was also considered, but Temi admitted it did not feel meaningful enough to her.

Temi also shared her surprise at how complicated the marriage process turned out to be.

“I thought getting married was just deciding and signing papers,” she said. “I didn’t know there was a mountain of administration.”

Despite the challenges and disagreements, the couple said the experience taught them patience and teamwork as they navigated the journey to marriage together.
