American rapper Lil Durk has been denied bond for the third time in his ongoing murder-for-hire case.
Judge Patricia Donahue ruled that the $4.5 million bond offer—along with conditions like 24-hour electronic monitoring and private security—was not enough to guarantee Durk’s court appearance or ensure public safety. Prosecutors argued he is a flight risk, pointing to his recent attempt to travel to Dubai before his arrest.
The judge also noted that the bond amount was only a small portion of his total net worth, further justifying the denial.
Lil Durk is facing serious charges, including conspiracy, firearm violations, and obstruction of justice. If convicted, he could face life in prison. His trial is scheduled to begin on October 14, 2025, in Atlanta, Georgia.
