Rap icon Nicki Minaj has revealed why she considers herself a die-hard supporter of United States President Donald Trump.
Speaking on Wednesday, Minaj declared that she is Trump’s number one fan and said that criticism directed at the US president only strengthens her support for him.
Trump reportedly called her up on stage after she voiced support for “Trump Accounts,” a programme said to provide trust funds for children.
“I will say that I am probably the president’s number one fan, and that’s not going to change.
“And the hate or what people have to say, it does not affect me at all. It actually motivates me to support him more,” Minaj said.
The 43-year-old Trinidadian-born star also said she would not allow Trump’s opponents to bully him.
“He has a lot of force behind him and God is protecting him. Amen,” she added.
